Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy uses yoga and it's many elements to address specific issues - whether they be physical or emotional. It is a holistic approach to restoring wellbeing and improving quality of life. Yoga can be used as a physical practice to help rehabilitate from injury, or it can also involve breathing practices, relaxation and meditation as ways of providing balance, the opportunity to begin healing or even just some time to catch up with yourself.

Yoga therapy sessions work with you to help find the root cause of a problem and then provides you with the tools to manage this going forwards. It works to treat the individual and allows healing to happen in an organic, individual way that can lead to a deeper practice and a positive outcome.

Yoga therapy can be used to ease the symptoms of a wide range of conditions such as:

  • stress related issues - including anxiety and depression

  • high blood pressure

  • chronic fatigue

  • back pain

  • injury rehabilitation

Iā€™m delighted to be able to offer Yoga Therapy sessions in my new home studio in Locks Heath, near Southampton - a tranquil space that is designed specifically to make you feel safe and able to explore a range of practices that will enable you to begin the process of healing and rebalancing.
